Suitability Evaluation

B.E.M.E™ Therapy commence by first filling in a pre-consultation form to see if your complaint qualifies for the therapy. After the pre-consultation form is read, you will be contacted for either a consultation to be scheduled or you will be informed of the suitability for therapy.

The Big Map Consult is a process that gathers comprehensive information about you. It is a space to re-acquaint with your own body and a time to engage in conversations with the therapist so that you can work hand-in-hand.

You will gain not just information but insights into your complaints – from root causes to its evolution.

Investigation & Analysis

During the analysis, very specific movements will be prescribed based on the consultation.

There will be conversations to inquire how you feel and the thoughts you had. This will help you “see” the interconnections through your unique way of accomplishing a task. More importantly, you will distil unconscious patterns of thinking, feeling, sensing and doing those tasks.

This process contributes to the report that serves as blueprint for therapy. It will help you to understand why and how you are relating with yourself and the world – body, emotions, mind, environment.

Analysis Report

A report will be prepared from the investigation and analysis. This will serve as the blueprint for reference to track your improvements.

Upon the chosen route, your educational therapy will be facilitated at your pace and as scheduled.

You will then graduate from the program after the stipulated time frame with your awareness awakened and equipped with the ability to free your complaint with confidence and independence.

I sought Vincent’s help to deal with a pain in my feet. His approach was by far the most comprehensive from analysis to resolution.

Prior to seeing him, I’ve been to the podiatrist, physiotherapist, sport therapist and sports doctor. While the pain and swell in my feet did reduce after all that, it was not gone. I was still having issues playing tennis past the first hour.

I liked how the observation was done on the tennis court to see my movement habits in play. I also liked that his solution is very holistic and multi-dimensional. On hindsight, alot of the work did on me before him, were symptomatic treatment and treatment in parts.

It’s great that I now know how to check my own movement when I do feel some strain in my feet, and I can play past the 3hr mark with no issues of pain or swell.

Knees ache disappeared and this allowed me to squat/dance/run and play with my kids without fear. Same goes for the back and the shoulder. I started working out, lifting weights, dancing again. I do not use my body in the wrong way when lifting heavy items or carrying my kids, the use of my body is pretty much all the time conducted in a correct and harmonious way. After I started with you, I am actually waning myself off my chiro exercises. I actually have this denneroll where I am supposed to do every night, where I do the “arching”. Then you feel the pain, and it’s like no pain no gain right?  And after you finish the denneroll, you feel “shiok” right? Like your back had a nice stretch. But actually, I haven’t been doing my denneroll for the longest time ever since I started this with you. Then I realised… how come I don’t need it already? I kind of don’t need that pain to feel like I am rehabilitating my back. And surprisingly, I don’t get my backache.
